Kung Fu Maintenance demonstrates how to adjustment for european cabinet hinges that will not stay closed. Loosening the set screw and pulling the door forward a tiny bit and than securing the set screw is often all it takes to repair a door that just keeps springing open a little bit and will not stay shut. This happens over time as the set screw often loosens just enough for the hinge to settle all the way into the holder and acts as a tiny wedge to push the door back open. If the hinge is more stubborn it may need to be replaced. Sometimes a magnet or velcro tape can be used as an alternative to replacement.
